You can never have to many eyeshadow palettes! 😉

Sleek make-up is another brand that I’m in love with. Sleek products have a high end quality, great color pay off and great prices. I purchased 3 palettes last year and they are really good. The shadows are easy to blend and work with. The colors look the same when applied as they do in the palette which is the thing that you always worry with when you see a color and hope it looks like that when you put it on. Also, these palettes give you a great range of colors and types of shadows (matte, shimmery) to choose from.

This post unfortuantely isn’t a good one. I’ve always had an issue with pores and oily skin. So, I went to Sephora on a mission to try and find something that could help. I was told that Philosophy’s new product total matteness could possibly help me out. Well, it didn’t do much at all. My pores didn’t reduce in size and it made me break out really bad. And I’ve never had a break out like this. The only thing it did was control the shine on my face for a few hours. Maybe it’ll work for someone else, everyone’s skin is different and react to products differently.

So today I’m really happy to be blogging about Real Techniques brushes. This line of brushes are from sisters Sam and Nic Chapman from Pixiwoo. Sam and Nic are Pro Make-up artists and Youtube vloggers. I admire them so much and love their work and videos. Furthermore, I absolutely love their brushes; high quality brushes with amazingly affordable prices. Real Techniques has a range of brushes for the face, eyes, and lips. The thing about the brushes is that you can use them for multiple functions not just one. For exmaple, the deluxe crease brush is an eye shadow brush but, I mainly use it for concealer/corrector. The bristles on the brushes are super soft and comfortable on the skin. Also blending make up becomes so easy, whether it’s foundation, contouring, or eye shadows (creams or powders). I have recommened Real Techniques to my sister and friends and they absolutely love it!

So I had been needing a curling iron forever. Every time I needed or wanted to curl my hair, I had to ask my sister to borrow hers. I got the Conair Infinity curler for Christmas and I love it!!! It is pricey but oh so worth it. What I love about it is that it does the work for you and you don’t get burned. It sucks your hair in and curls it to a perfect curl. There is a timer with 3 settings, so there is no chance of you burning your hair. It takes some getting used to holding the curler and placing the hair in the right place, but not much practice at all. Now, Conair is not the only brand that makes a tool like this. Babyliss makes one as well, more expensive, so you pick on preference I guess. I absolutely recommend this curler. AAAMAZEBALLS! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Good chilly afternoon guys!

Eyebrows shape the face and to me, complete any make up look. Anastasia’s Tinted Brow Gel is the key to my eyebrows always staying in place. Gel has a nice consistency and it does not flake. Another thing I love about this is that if I feel like not wearing much at all on my face but want my brows to still look groomed, I can brush some of this on and it won’t be too much. This product does not ware off and it does dry rather quickly so remember that when you are applying and want to shape the brow. Colors are true match by the way and since I’m a brunette, I got the gel in Espresso.

Hope everyone’s enjoying the new year so far 🙂

My sister introduced this hair oil to me. I was skeptic because our hair stylist said to be careful when it comes to using oils for our hair because certain ones can actually dry out the hair instead of hydrating/nourishing it.

I was so happy with the results of this one. After applying it and letting it settle in (1 use), my hair felt so soft and smooth. The coconut oil also gives a great shine. Also, when it comes to detangling, this helps me out a lot. My hair is naturally frizzy and this helps tame it some.I love it, I’m glad I tried it!. Oh and the smell is delicious! It’s a fresh, clean coconut scent.

Don’t knock it until you try it 🙂

Want your lipstick to stick around longer? Brush foundation on your lips. Then line and fill in the lips with a lip pencil, same color as the lipstick. These two steps will keep that lipstick in place and stop the feathering.

I gotta thank my dad for this awesome gift set!! We were in Vegas last month when while walking through the forum shops we stopped by MAC. I was itching to get a paint pot and one of the artist there suggested this gift set.  “Umm…total Steal! The paint pot is $20 alone. For $20 more I could get the paint pot, mascara, gel eye liner, double ended applicator brush, and a bag! $40 for 5 things at MAC is unheard of, so I had to choose it. This is a limited edition item and unfortunately is not available anymore but they do have other sets available. Don’t think about it twice 😉

 What’s not to love? Great price, quality and it’s a nice treat for yourself or loved one.

This product is a must have for eye brows. I first got it in NY when I went for New Years last year. I fell in love with it! The strokes look natural; brow looks well groomed. The pencil is smooth and soft so it won’t make your hairs fall out. It makes such a difference when using this product instead of powder. No more cakeiness, or falldown!
