Hi, welcome! Dema is actually my nickname, my name is Demarys. I am Cuban-American; born in Cuba, and raised in the United States. My parents took the very brave plunge, risked everything, and brought me and my sister here for a better life. I love them, my very own superheroes. I come from an artistic background. My dad is an extremely talented artist: oil paintings, murals, faux finishes, he can do it all. Me and my sister inherited a touch of his talent, our drawing is decent, but where we rock is make-up. We love it, and that's why I started this blog. I had the opportunity to work at a make-up counter for over three years, which gave me great eye-opening experiences and perspective. I felt compelled to share what I had learned over the last three years, and give recommendations, advice, and sharing what I learned with others interested in this career. *Tip*

Don’t recommend using concealer as a primer on your eyelids. It’ll make the eyeshadow crease. Use an eyeshadow primer. Many make-up brands have one. I recommend Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer, love it!

MAKE UP FOR EVER HD FOUNDATION

Hey guys!

If you are attending an event and are going to be photographed or recorded, you’ll want to be wearing this foundation. It’s a second skin, sounds creepy but true! What I mean is, that is gives great coverage and it looks like you’re not wearing make-up. Make sure you moisturize and prime *if you have dry-to-combination skin before applying the foundation. It’ll help the application go smoother! If you have “normal” skin, then you don’t need to prime, lucky!

NYX Lip Liner

Good Afternoon, happy Wednesday!!

NYX is a good brand that’s on the cheaper side. They have such a variety of products and colors to choose from. Ulta always has a good sale on NYX products. Ok, so the lip liner is true to color. It’s always dissapointing when you by a product and you apply it and it’s nothing like advertised! Well, not with these. Also, it helps the lipstick stay a lot longer and keeps it from bleeding. NYX has jumbo lip liners as well and they are moisturizing, which I love! Totally recommend this brand if you are looking for something good and cheap!

MAC’s Face and Body Foundation

MAC’s Face and Body Foundation is one of the best foundations out there. It is so light and buildable. It feels refreshing to the skin when you are applying it which is great, because that lets you know that it will not be cakey/heavy. The finish is smooth, silky skin. And it looks like you got nothing on! I love it!!! Oh and it’s water resistant [a plus!]

Bioderma.

Hi Guys! Ok so Bioderma is a great makeup remover. It has no oily residue whatsoever. This product is great for sensitive skin, does not sting or irritate the eyes/skin. Also, Bioderma removes makeup easily, in a couple of swipes. Sadly it is not sold in the US. I had to order thru Amazon. It’ll last you a long while. I got my bottle in Feb of this year and im going on 7 months and still have some left. It’s worth the wait!!!!

Moisture Heaven!

 

I have combination skin and had a rough time finding a moisturizer that would truly hydrate/moisturize my skin. After many disappointments I found Clinique’s Moisture Surge Intense moisturizer. This product is amazing!!! It hydrates the skin all day. You can feel and see the difference after one use. I love it. My rough dry patches are gone and my make up looks so much smoother. It truly quenches the skin. It absorbs into the skin quickly. It also has a nice clean scent to it. If you are in the market for a new moisturizer, I recommend this one. Oh and it’s sold in 2 sizes as shown below!
